QLC100 - Applications

The capabilities of the QLC100 allow it to address a wide range of applications. Rapid scanning speed coupled with an appropriate camera and imaging technology provides the capability of capturing fast dynamic events such as calcium waves.

High resolution provides excellent images of fine structures in living cellular material that is essential to studies involving GFP labels (and other fluorescent proteins).

Real-time confocal imaging enables the observation and recording of blood circulation in vivo and the study of movement / reactions in micro-organisms.

The high degree of confocality provides high quality optical sections of whole mount embryos and pathological or histological specimens.
